Contrary to theories and speculation, Joel McHale will be playing Neve Campbell's husband, Mark, in Scream 7. Since we learned in Scream (2022) that Sidney had a husband named Mark, it was assumed that it was Mark Kincaid, played by Patrick Dempsey in Scream 3.
These rumors can be put to bed now that McHale has been cast as Mark Evans, Sidney's husband.

Set to play her spouse, Mark Evans, in Scream 7 is none other than Joel McHale, who’s currently in production on the film in Atlanta.
