Neve Campbell has seemingly confirmed that the currently untitled Scream 7 will begin principle photography this December. The seventh installment was initially slated for a September/Fall shoot but it appears that cast and crew schedules would not allow that to be.
Neve recently chatted with IndieWire about her upcoming Swan Song project and, of course, Scream was brought up.
“I’m very, very happy it’s happening,” Campbell said. “We were supposed to start in September, but we’re going to start in December now because of some scheduling stuff with Kevin and myself and having that all aligned. And actually, I think it’s a good thing, because we’re going to be able to have the time to get it really right. So I’m very excited about it.”
So there we have it; a December 2024 shooting date. Now let's hope for a December 2025 release!
