Well, today really packed a surprise. Neve Campbell announced that she is returning for [Untitled] Scream 7 via Instagram. Furthermore, she revealed that series creator Kevin Williamson will be directing! Guy Busick is being credited as the sole writer based on a story by himself and Scream (2022) and Scream VI co-writer James Vanderbilt (who will remain on board as a producer).
This is huge news. Many fans, myself included, have been pining for a Williamson-directed Scream film. Well, we're getting it. Williamson's lone directorial credit is 1999's Teaching Mrs. Tingle (which is totally worth a revisit if you ask me).
