Darn near everyone involved with Cursed has kept silent during the production, but listen to Kevin Williamson's sole take on the project to date, thanks to the U-Daily Bulletin:
"Cursed is "a little more upscale, less teen-oriented" than past Williamson collaborations. However, "Anything that's good can do business. It's not the genre that counts. It's about the script, the production, the actors."
