Review: Someone has taken their love of scary movies one step too far.

Directed by: Wes Craven
Written by: Kevin Williamson
Starring: David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, Drew Barrymore

One night, Casey (Barrymore) is brutally murdered. The next night, Sydney Presscott (Campbell) is attacked. This sends the whole town into a frenzy, as the deputy in town (Arquette) along with the help of a reporter (Cox) try to find out who is doing this.

This is the movie that revived the slasher genre. Released on Christmas weekend, many didn't have hope for it. But this movie really preformed at the box office. I didn't get to see it until a few years later. It was a good movie. No, scratch that. An excellent movie. It's both funny and scary. Highly reccommended if you still haven't seen it.

10/10

Rated R for strong graphic horror violence and gore, and for language.

Parental Advisory: Not too much to worry about here. The violence isn't that graphic. Mostly stabbings, that yeld quite a bit of blood. The language is harsh. Every character uses the F word a lot. 15+

DVD Review: Bloopers, behind the scenes, trivia feature, and trailers.
